Beginning the Enrollment Process

The enrollment function is started by accessing the Eligibility tab on the Subsidy Applicant's record. This action accesses the Eligibility page (SB0002) which presents a summary of all characteristics for the eligibility. As a result of the Eligibility Determination process described in the Subsidy - Intake and Eligibility Chapter, an Active Child Care Authorization record(s) has been created for each child in the case. If a child's birthday during the period of this Eligibility causes him to change Age Categories, both categories are listed on the Active Child Care Authorization table with the appropriate effective dates

In order to begin the enrollment, select the row in the table corresponding to the child/effective dates by clicking on the New Certificate link at the end of the row. As a result, the Create Certificate - Link to Provider page (SB0042) is accessed.
