Update Allegation Status/Notes
This function allows the information about the status and notes maintained for an allegation to be updated. Select the menu option Update Allegation Status/Notes in order to access this function. As a result, the Allegation - Update Allegation Status/Notes page is accessed.
Complete the information in the following fields:
Allegation Status*
Select the correct value for the status from the list presented as you use the down arrow () next to the field.
Completed
In Progress
Rejected
Status Update Date
This date defaults to the current date; however, it may be changed if necessary. Enter the update date using the format MM/DD/YYYY.
Allegation Outcome
Select the value for this field by using the down arrow () next to the field.
Substantiated
Unsubstantiated
Unable to Determine
Referred To: (If referred to Another Agency)
If there was a referral made, enter the name of the agency to which the allegation was referred in this field.
Notes
Enter or update any appropriate notes that pertain to the complaint.
Once the above information has been entered, click on the Update button at the bottom of the page. This action submits the worker assignment for the complaint and returns to the Allegation Summary page with the updated complaint information.
