Complaint Entry
This function can be accessed through each of the following portals:
Citizen - The complaint may be entered on this portal by any interested party.
Provider - Within the functions granted to a provider is the ability to enter a complaint.
Internal - Any worker granted the appropriate access may enter the complaint on the Internal Portal.
The functions in all three areas work essentially in the same manner. For the Internal and Provider Portals, there is a function that allows these users to check on the status of the entered complaint.
If the complaint is received by telephone or in writing, the complaint will be received by a centralized person(s) who makes an initial assessment of the type of complaint and evaluates the next steps needed. If the complaint is appropriate for CDD follow-up, the worker enters the complaint details in the Internal Portal. These steps are described in the following sections.
