Completing the Regulation Citation
The next step is to retrieve the Regulations for the denial. Perform a search for the clicking on the Add Regulation link at the top of the Regulations table. This accesses the Regulation Search page (SB00016).
On this page perform a search by entering the following information.
Regulation Area
Select the Regulation Area from the drop down list (
) presented.
Keyword(s)
Enter a keyword as text related to the regulation.
Then click on the Continue button to process the search using the entered criteria. The Regulation Search Results displays all items that match the search criteria and present the following for each entry:
Regulation Number
Regulation Area
Caption
You can select a Sort by option from the drop down list () if multiple items are returned. The options to sort by are Regulation Number or Regulation Area. To view the details of a particular regulation, the user clicks on the View Details button. To select a regulation, the user must first click on the box to the left of the regulation of choice and then click on the Insert Selected Regulation(s) button. This step returns you to the Eligibility Denial page (SB0014) where the Regulation Number field is now filled.
Once you have completed these steps, click on the Submit button. You will be returned to the Application Menu page (SB0031).
