Create a New Regulation


If the Find Regulations function does not find the information on which you have searched, the Regulation Administration page presented is used to create a new Regulation.  On this page, the following fields are entered for the new regulation.

Status*

Select one of the following using the radio button next to the field ():

Active

Inactive

Regulation Area*

Enter the Regulation Area of your choice.

Frequently-Used Regulation Area

Click on the box to add a check if the Regulation Area is frequently used.

Severity Score

Select the appropriate score from the drop-down list ():

1 (Low Severity)

2 (Medium Severity)

3 (High Severity)

4 (Critical Severity)

Complaint Priority*

Select one of the following ():

Low

Medium

High

Critical

Regulation Text*

Enter the Regulation text as appropriate.

 
Once you have entered the information in the appropriate fields, click on the Submit button.  As a result, a Regulation Saved page is presented for confirmation that the Regulation has been entered into the system.  The regulation is now ready for use throughout the system.

On the Regulation Saved page, click on the Update/Input Another Regulation button to return to the Regulation Search page to continue this function.
