Fair Hearing Outcome
The Fair Hearing Outcome documents the outcome of a particular level of decision for the Fair Hearing Request. In order to record the results of the hearing, the Fair Hearing Outcome may be accessed through either of the following methods.
Fair Hearing Request Notice
As a result of the Fair Hearing Request submission, a Fair Hearing Request Notice is generated. The Fair Hearing Request Notice is sent as appropriate to the Licensing Manager (for License Action), License Supervisor (for Enforcement) or Subsidy Manager (for Subsidy Appeals). The purpose of this notice is to advise that a Commissioner's Review must be held. It is linked to the Fair Hearing Request. The Fair Hearing Request Notice is selected from the Notice List and Fair Hearing Request Detail page (LI0026) for the item needing review is opened.
Fair Hearing Requests Page
The Fair Hearings list for the Provider contains a list of available requests. This function is accessed through the Account Option named Fair Hearing Request on the Account Summary page.
Click on the Details link at the end of the row containing the request for which an outcome will be recorded and Fair Hearing Request Detail page (LI0126) for the item needing review is opened.
On the Fair Hearing Request Detail page, review the information presented to determine a decision that should be recorded. The following information is displayed on the page:
Request Type
Date Request Received
Reference ID
Requestor Type
Person Submitting Request
Request Narrative
Notes
In order to record an outcome, click on the Record Request Outcome button. This accesses the Record Outcome page (LI0191) on which each of the reviews are recorded. These may be recorded at the same time or at different times.
