Filtering the Worklist
The Worklist can be filtered to display only items of interest to you. When first accessed, the Worklist displays all events due that have a New status by ascending Due Date.
You can change what will be displayed by making selections in the following fields.
Work Item Number
By entering the system-generated number assigned to the work item, only one item will appear in the Worklist.
Work Item Dates
The Worklist may be sorted by the following date criteria.
Due Date(s)
Each worklist item that has been created is assigned a due date that is system generated and calculated by the definition of the specific item. Events within Bright Futures have had a standard time duration established. These time durations determine when the event must be completed. The time duration for a particular event is noted in the Due Date column of the Worklist.
To view items on the Worklist that are due on a specific date or within a specific date range, use the Due Date filters. The date must be entered in MM/DD/YYYY format. To view all events due after a specific date, enter that date in the Start Date field. All events due after the entered date will be displayed. To view events that are due between a certain date range, enter a date in both date fields provided. Only events due between the specified date range will be displayed. To view events that were due before a specific date, enter that date in the End Date field.
Created Date(s)
The created date refers to the date on which the worklisted item was created. Worklist items can be created as a result of an automated process or the completion of a previous item that is sequentially linked to create a subsequent item.
To view items on the Worklist that were created on a specific date or within a specific date range, use the Created Date filters. The date must be entered in MM/DD/YYYY format. To view all events created after a specific date, enter that date in the Start Date field. All events created after the entered date will be displayed. To view events that were created between a certain date range, enter a date in both date fields provided. Only events created between the specified date range will be displayed on the Worklist. To view events that were created before a specific date, enter that date in the End Date field.
Completed Date(s)
The date on which an item has been completed is assigned as the completed date.
To view items on the Worklist that were completed on a specific date or within a specific date range, use the Completed Date filters. The date must be entered in the MM/DD/YYYY format. Also, the Completed checkbox must be checked. To view all events completed after a specific date, enter that date in the Start Date field. All events completed after the entered date will be displayed in the results table. To view events that were completed between a certain date range, enter a date in each date field provided. Only events completed between the specified date range will be returned. To view events that were completed before a specific date, enter that date in the End Date field.
