Link to Existing Allegation

This function allows a determination to be made if the allegation is a duplicate of any allegations previously investigated or still pending.  If the allegation is a duplicate, it should be linked to the previously entered allegation for consideration by the worker performing follow-up.  Select the menu option Link to Existing Allegation in order to access this function.  As a result, the Allegation - Link to Existing Allegation page is accessed.

In order to view the details for any of the listed allegations by clicking on the link at the beginning of the row, which is the underlined Allegation ID Number.  This action results in the access to the Allegation Summary page for review. 

If you locate an allegation in the Linkable Allegations table to which you would like to link this new allegation, click on the radio button field () at the beginning of the row corresponding to that allegation in the Select column and then click on the Link to Selected Allegation button.  This step returns the user to the Allegation Summary page which now contains the Linked to Allegation field containing the Allegation ID Number under the Regulation Information section at the bottom of the page.  You can refer to the details for the linked allegation at any time by clicking the underlined Allegation ID Number.
