New Provider Referral Search
This function allows search criteria to be defined to generate a customized referral list of child care providers. Queries can be performed for individual or all children in a family. The search can be performed by using either a predefined or a customized query selection. Predefined queries have been identified to generate referrals frequently requested by clients. Other queries may be performed as needed for more customization of services. Selection can accommodate both Work and Home proximity. LECC Providers are not included in the Referral function.
User Defined Query (Custom Search)
This query would be user generated for customized referral search using any of the criteria presented.
Pre-defined Query (All Others)
These queries have been identified to generate referrals frequently requested by clients. Within the functionality of one of these types of queries, you may customize the search criteria once you have accessed the query page.
Begin the query process by selecting one of the values in the drop-down list for Query Type by using the down arrow () next to the field.

As a result, the Provider Referral Search page (RR0013) is displayed.
The search fields are populated according to the selection of the Query Type. For all queries, the Age Categories checked represent the ages of the children who have been associated with the referral case. Any of the prefilled fields may be edited if desired. Make or edit selections for the following fields:
Town

Operating Times
Enter the starting and ending times by typing the value using the format HH:MM AM or PM in this field.
Age Categories
This section identifies the ages for which a provider is willing to care for children. For all queries, the Age Categories checked represent the ages of the children who have been associated with the referral case. In order to include an item for the age category, click on the box next to the value for the age. To uncheck a selection, just click in the box again to remove it.

Current Vacancies Preference
This option allows the choice between providers who have publicized vacancies and all providers whether there are vacancies or not. If the selection is for Only Providers with Vacancies, provider results would only include ones with current vacancies. Select the choice by using the radio button next to the field ().

Accepts Subsidy Clients
This field indicates whether the provider is willing to serve State Child Care subsidized clients. Select the choice by using the radio button next to the field ().

Area Description

Search Providers Updated Since
The purpose of this field is to locate providers who have recently become licensed; had licensing changes, or whose information has been updated; and therefore, may not have appeared in previous search results. In order to include these providers for this function, a date value is entered. If an update has been made after this date, the provider is included in the results.
