Overview for Document Generation

Document Generation is a letter and form generation sub-system within Bright Futures that provides automated support for the creation of Provider, Client, and Case letters and forms. Letter templates are used to display the stored event and function data values. This information is retrieved from events and functions as specified for the particular document to be created.

The contents of the letter are displayed within a text window which allows you to edit the letter if appropriate. In addition, information which is not captured during the letter generation but is considered essential for the letter or form content may be entered. Boiler plate text (standard text expressions) is also a characteristic of the Document Generation Wizard Template.
