Perform Record Checks for the Applicant and Household Members (LECC)

As a result of the Record Check Authorization information being entered during the LECC Application process, a work item has been generated and worklisted to a Licensing Technician (assigned through the Town/District mapping) for review and processing.  The recording of the findings for the Record Checks associated with the provider and each household member is the first step to determine if the applicant is eligible to be a provider.  If a criminal or abuse background is found that would disqualify the applicant from being a provider in accordance with Licensing regulations, the regulatory problem will be used to deny the application.  For complete information on how to complete the Record Check, refer to the Record Check Chapter of this manual.
