Agreement Copy
The Copy Agreement function would be available to accomplish the renewal of annual contracts or the amendments made to contracts and grants throughout their duration.
Once the content of the agreement is copied, the Contract Manager would have the ability to Amend an Existing Contract or Create a New Contract; the Grant Manager will only be able to Amend an Existing Grant (Agreement Copy Type).
Rules for Copying Agreements
Only "current" agreements can be amended.
When an Agreement is amended, the End Date of the original Agreement or preceding Amendment is the day before the Begin Date of the current Amendment. The Amend Begin Date of a new amendment cannot be retroactive.
Agreement dates for the same provider for the same Agreement Type cannot overlap.
The same Agreement number will be retained for Agreement Amendments; however, an alpha character will be added to the Agreement ID.
Access this function through the Agreement Detail page as shown below.
Select the Agreement Option named Copy and Create New Agreement at the bottom of the page. This action results in the display of the Copy and Create New Agreement page (AG0011).
Complete the information on this page by editing any parts of the agreement on the top portion of the page. Once you have finished your edits, click on the Submit button.
