Accessing a PATH Record

Upon logging into the system, the function may be found on the Subsidy main menu. Select New PATH Child Care Authorization. As a result, the Path Inquiry page (SB0094) is displayed.

This function allows you to perform a search on the SSN in order to retrieve a PATH client's record. Enter the PATH client's SSN by using all numbers and no hyphens and then click the Search button. If the search is successful, the Search Results table displays the record for the searched SSN. If no PATH SSN is found, the PATH authorization cannot be completed at this time.

If the name appearing in the list matches the one on the PATH Authorization being entered, select the row containing the name by clicking on the button at the beginning of the row in the Select column. Once the row has been selected, click on the Use Selected button at the bottom of the page.

The next page presents the applicant information from the selected row. On the Applicant Information page (SB0130), you may change the information as necessary. You will also need to enter the information in the required fields as described in the section below.
