Process Complaint

During the processing of a complaint, the worker links the complaint to the Provider or Person associated with it.  If the Complaint type is Licensing, the complaint is linked to a Provider; if the complaint type is Subsidy, the complaint is linked to a subsidy applicant or eligible parent.

This processing begins at the New Complaint Queue function found in the Complaints main menu.  For more information on the New Complaint Queue, see New Complaint Queue.  In order to access the details of the complaint, click on the link at the beginning of the row, which is the underlined Complaint ID Number.  This action accesses the Process Complaint - Complaint Type page which begins the complaint processing.

Once you have accessed the Process Complaint - Complaint Type page as described in New Complaint Queue, the following information is presented in the Complaint Header:

Complaint Subject

Complaint ID Number

Complaint Type (blank until complaint is processed)

Received Date

At the bottom of the page, the details of the complaint as they were submitted are presented for review.

Complaint Details

Complaint Type

Complaint Type*

The type is the only field on this page that may be changed.  Select Provider or Subsidy by clicking in the () to the left of the option.
