Provider Management Functions
Provider Management enables a user to find, view and manage provider information including provider licensing and registration information. Within this menu option, most of the functions pertaining to an existing provider may be accomplished. The following functions are available for use within the Provider Management section. Access to each of these functions is accomplished through the use of User Profiles. Some of the menu options are not available if you have not been granted access to the particular item through the User Maintenance functions.
Search Providers
This functionality supports search and retrieval of information about people and organizations identified as Providers in the system based on demographics, address information, phone numbers or application data contained in the Bright Futures database.
Create Licensed Center Provider
This function captures the supporting information needed to complete the license application for a provider seeking to become a licensed program. The Initial Licensing Visit Request function is the first step and captures basic information about the prospective early childhood, licensed family home, non-recurring, or school age child care provider seeking a license and the site. The Licensing Visit Request initiates the licensing process and opens the Licensing Case.
Registered Family Child Care Home Application
This function captures the supporting information needed to complete the application to operate a Registered Family Child Care Home.
License Action Approval
This function allows the Licensing Supervisor to review and approve the license actions for a provider.
