Recording Service Gap Information 

Once you have located the client's record as described in Referral Client Search and have accessed the Account Summary page (RR0027) for the client, you may record service gap information about a referral client.  Select the option named Record Service Gap under Additional Account Options at the bottom of the page. 

As a result, the Record Service Gap page (RR0006) is presented. 

Complete the information for the service gap as described below.

Service Gap Date

Enter the date for the record in this field.

Preferred Service

Select the value for the preferred service by using the down arrow () next to the field.

Special Needs

Secondary Service

Select the value for the secondary service by using the down arrow () next to the field.

Special Needs

Service Gap Reasons

Check each of the reasons that apply by clicking in the box next to the value:

Cost

Geographically Unavailable

Insufficient Capacity

Need for Infant Space

Not First Choice

Program Eligibility

Transportation

Type of Care Not Available

To uncheck a selected reason, just click in the box again to remove the selection.
