Recording the Application Decision
Once the Application has been submitted by the Licensing Technician for approval, the Licensor reviews the Approval values and determines the Application Decision. The Licensor has been informed of the Application Review to be performed through the work item generated for the Licensor titled Application Review Required.
The Licensor selects the Application Review Required from the worklist by clicking on the underlined link. As a result, the License Management page is accessed (LI0186). In order to proceed with the Application process, click on the Details link at the end of the License row containing a New Status. The next screen presented is the License Application Section Menu page (LI0209) which contains a link to each section of the Application (Portfolio).
The Approval Status values that have been marked by the Licensing Technician are in place. These may be changed as appropriate as each section is reviewed again.
Once all sections have been reviewed, click on the Submit Application Decision button. This action accesses the Decision page (LI0236) on which the following information is recorded.
Application Status*
Click on the down arrow () next to the field to select from one of the following values from the drop-down list:
Approved
Denied
Withdrawn
Status Date*
This date is defaulted to the current date, but may be changed if required.
License Effective Date* (if Approved)
Enter the date on which the license is effective.
License Expiration Date* (if Approved)
Enter the expiration date for the license.
