The Service Gap function has been identified for tracking unavailable services captured during the referral process. The Service Gap function documents the lack of services preferred or required by a family, thus supporting CCSD service and budget planning efforts. If inadequate child care providers are located for a referral request, this information will be tracked manually in this function.
