Application for a Licensed Program

Child care that is provided in a location other than the provider's home is subject to the licensing process. Currently, 566 licensed child care centers in Vermont serve between 16,000 and 18,000 children daily. Forty-five (45) centers have obtained accreditation from a national accreditation body such as NAEYC. This section describes the process for Licensed Program Applications and the objects within Bright Futures that support this process.
