Schedule and Perform a Pre-Registration Assessment

For all potential registered home providers, a Pre-Registration Assessment site visit is scheduled to discuss the application process and forms.  During the site visit, two activities take place.  First, the licensor meets with the applicant to review the information required by the various sections of the Registered Home Application and to answer any questions the applicant may have about the process or his/her program.  Second, the licensor conducts a regulatory review with the applicant to ensure that they understand the regulations that apply to his/her proposed program.  Upon returning from the site visit, the Licensor completes the Site Visit for the provider record, which becomes the Pre- Registration Assessment section of the Registered Home Application.  For complete information on how to complete the Site Visit, refer to the Site Visit Chapter of this manual.
