Enrollment Business Rules
Having been authorized to receive services, the client is now enrolled with a provider. The family may have previously selected a provider and the provider will have been known since the time of the Application. If no provider has been previously selected, the "Referral" functionality described in another section will be used to assist the subsidy applicant in finding appropriate care. The physical evidence of a service authorization for child care is the Certificate of Authorized Child Care, copies of which are supplied to the subsidy parent and the provider. A child who has been authorized to receive transportation services is "enrolled" or linked to the authorized provider.
Enrollment dates must be contained within Eligibility dates.
Enrollment can change without a change in Eligibility.
Enrollment data must be maintained historically.
No new child can be enrolled with a provider whose license is in the process of being revoked unless overridden.
No Protective Services child can be enrolled with a provider whose Protective Services Indicator checkbox is not checked.
The parent co-pay is the difference between the qualified subsidized rate and the maximum rate paid to the provider.
A child may be enrolled at multiple providers during the eligibility period, both sequentially and concurrently.
An enrollment cannot be prevented due to capacity.
A child must be removed from the Wait List before an enrollment can be performed.
The last day of payment will be equal to the Enrollment End Date.
