Welcome to the Bright Futures Information System

The Bright Futures Information System (BFIS) is Vermont's early childhood and after school program data management system operated by the Child Development Division (CDD) of the Department for Children and Families (DCF).

 

This system offers a variety of tools to assist parents, child care providers and workers.

 

  • Child care providers can maintain their licensing information and bill CDD for families receiving financial assistance.

 

  • Child care providers and workers can find and track their professional development.

 

  • Parents can apply for and maintain their Child Care Financial Assistance, and find child care providers who meet their needs.
