Complaint - View Status of a Complaint

View the status of a submitted complaint.

To view the status of a complaint

1. Click the Contact tab at the top of the page. Picture

    

2. Click Complaint - View Status of a Complaint. Picture

    

3. Enter the Assigned Complaint No., and click Submit. Picture

    

4. The status of the complaint displays. Picture

    

1. For a description of each status, click here:

    

   Status	Definition
   Recorded	Has been received, but not yet reviewed by the case worker.
   In Progress	Is in the process of being reviewed by the case worker.
   Rejected/Not Accepted	Reasons why a complaint may have been rejected/not accepted:   The complaint was addressed by an alternative action taken by the Licensing Unit, or The Division does not have the authority, or there was not sufficient information for an action to be taken, or The complaint was referred to another Agency/Division such as the Family Services Division, or Division of Fire Safety. For additional information in regards to this status, please contact the Licensor on Duty (LOD) at 1-800-649-2642, option 3.
   Completed	The investigation has been completed by the case worker.
